Another Space Dust as I settle in for the evening:



Checked out a new brewery in Ft. Lauderdale on my drive back today - Uncommon Path Brewery. Met both owners/brewers and sampled some IPAs. What floored me was an imperial stout aged 22 months in 4 year Willett barrels - “BA Just The Barrel”:

Big and boozy at 13.9%. Lots of bourbon in nose/on tongue. Chocolate base with dark fruit and oaky barrel notes. Delicious.

I may return when I’m in Miami again next week. Great guys and space. I need to try more of their beers. Cheers y’all!

Emancipation Brewing Company Barn Bier Märzen. A draft only at the brewery(Fairbury, Illinois) beer brought home in a growler.

 

I am done with a three day business finance and accounting course. I am as ready for this fresh hop beer as I have ever been. Fresh Hop Fiend: Strata, from Stoup.

Finished doing some painting and then cracked one of these. Was so impressed that I put the opened can back in the fridge and went back to the store and bought three more tall boys. Canned on 8-30-23 and is old school West Coast bliss. This reminds me of Flying Dog - Double Dog, but 3% less on the ABV.
