He's a guitar collector/reseller so he was just showing some of his instruments. Its a really good channel and he shows a lot of of interesting instruments, definitely worth subscribing to his channel.

Errands to run, then a solar eclipse watching party at the pub this afternoon. Mrs. Z is in Utah and will see the complete “ring of fire”!

Not a bad German Pilsner. I had to try it because of the famous Ramones song. Sorry the sound quality makes the lyrics inaudible, but it captures the spirit of their shows.

A Saturday morning breakfast...


An incredibly happy day for me as the wife and daughter are flying home from Europe right now and will be home late tonight! This is the longest her and I have been apart since before we were married. It's been quiet around the house, which does have its perks, but I miss her terribly.

A chilly 32°F this morning I woke up to.

I'm still hooked on Oktoberfest beers. This is my favourite; well, until I have another Paulaner.

Jr and the Mrs are at a museum thing today. Daughter was supposed to have ice-skating lessons and then a Halloween party at the rink, but then they called to tell us there’s some sort of maintenance issue and everything is canceled today. A trip to the library and lunch at the café there will have to be the make up activity. But until then, I’m drinking a beer that is so maple forward I could smell it before I even opened the can.
