Tomas, good call as your instincts were correct on this being a wild cherry forward Quad...looks like Zebulon is coming out with another IS soon. I'll be sure to pick up several when i see them.

I think i will join @Shanex with a Quad today. This is from a local Asheville area brewer Zebulon in which their master brewer Mike Karnowski decided to create a holiday treat for the 2022 Christmas season as this is partially fermented with wild yeast and aged with cherries in Wild Turkey barrels. It was a solid beer, very wild cherry'ish. Would love to see how the base beer would be @Resistance88

Hello BAs. Thanks @ChicagoJ for firing up 4015. I'm easing into this day which strangely feels like a weekend. Chip chop at the barber shop sez my lawn. Off to work I go but I first need motivation via a new beer. Empyrean Burning Skye Scottish-Style Ale. Damn tasty and has a nice dry finish. Takin' my sweet time today. Cheers!

 

Maine Beer Co. Wolfe's Neck IPA, 6.5% - this one goes to 11! Cheers!



-Look: Beautiful cloudy deep-gold with a bone-white clumpy head.
-Aroma: Whoa! Weed and mild grapefruit on a shortbread cookie.
-Taste: Wonderful mild orange, grapefruit rind, one pine needle.
-Feel: Loose and slippery, mildly prickly, goes down fast.
-Overall: Delicious west-coasty IPA with a soft blend of hops and malts!

Looks like I last had that one on 8/27/21 I gave it a 4/5. How does it compare to that notch pilsner you posted about recently?

 

Really they are very different, and the Pils (formerly named Session Pils) is much lighter. Both are very enjoyable though. Cheers!

p.s. still no sighting of Karlův 13° here sadly. Some day I'll head an hour north to the source when the stars align and they have my ideal taplist and I have a driver haha.

 

Monkish & deGarde - Armored Dilla DIPA

It is funny that nowhere on the can you see the name of the beer. Nowhere. I just so happen to know because I bought it from the (deGarde) taphouse and they had it written on the wall. Never seen this happen before.
