    1) Jester King Pilsner (5.1%):     A German Pilsner from Austin with flavors of lemongrass, smooth pale Munich malts. Mildly sweet
    versus
    2) Surly Hell Lager (5.0%): A German lager from Minnesota that has flavors of lemonflower with a dry yeasty and pale malt finish. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    2) Surly Hell Lager:     German Lager Battle. Jester King is all the way from Austin, yet a fantastic German Pilsner. Excellent hops plust strong malt flavors and mildly sweet.
    Surly Hell is one of my favorite summer lagers. Floral, lemony, grassy, and bitter. Sort of a hoppy German Lager. Very underrated.
    These were actually extremely similar. Couldn't tell them apart blind. Surly Hell has slight American hop vibes of lemon and pine. Jester King is more robust and bitter. Excellent lagers for this warm fall Friday.
