Cheers to @woodchipper who is a total classic BA. Pete and his wife Sue were really fun to meet out in the wild ( my first real BA Meetup). Guys, @woodchipper is the real deal. Super funny, smart, well travelled, had great stories and just a very interesting person. He knows his beer lore.
Super excited for the meetup. Btw , got home and celebrated with a 4 egg omelet! In true BA fashion, both wives were in the driver’s seat for the ride home! Lol

Windmill BA Cheesecake Mutant Turtles (Imperial Stout aged 20 months in Hotel Tango bourbon and rye barrels w/ chocolate and caramel). I'm sure there's cheesecake flavoring in this, but they don't explicitly say.
Been wanting to try this local gem for some time and the time has finally arrived. It tastes how it's intended, with rich cheesecake vibes, 90% dark chocolate, fudge, caramel, roasted malt, vanilla, charred oak tannin, rye spice, and bourbon/whiskey spirit. I can see why this one gets hype. Windmill's pastry game is strong.
