No we did not. That was shot for the show, especially the guy driving the fork truck with an ice cream cone in hand. We did get ice cream periodically though, and during the summer we usually had a Sonic slush machine running. Sugar overload.

 

I took this from a series of pics that one of my internet buds occasionally sends me in emails. Credit is given to whoever at Indian Hills Community Center (wherever that is) writes these things.

Life and beer are very similar - Chill for best results.

Norman was confused as he was trying to figure out which IPA style he wanted to order last night while we were at the Yard House

 

I used to 'work' for Norman in the past when he purchased the company I worked for (GE Aerospace group). I didn't get to meet him personally. If I did, I would have provided some advice re: IPAs.

I've been collecting these for years while researching - never knew when I'd use them but, since it's not uncommon to turn the topic around in threads - my least favorite cliched quote is:

This reminds me of a story a good friend told me a very long time ago (I am pretty sure it was an Urban Legend story):

He stated that he had a neighbor who's sister's husband is a State Trooper in West Virginia. The state trooper was driving down the road and off the road in a ditch was a Van which must have just gone off the road since one wheel was still spinning. The Trooper pulls over and opens the back door of the van. In the back was a young fellow with a can of beer in his hand with a very surprised look on his face The Trooper asked: what happened? The young fellow replied: I don't know. I put my new van in autopilot (e.g., cruise control) and I went in the back to get a beer and here I am.

My friend believed this was a true story. Nah!!
