Before this thread gets flooded with all the package/cost whining….this is probably the best package yet! All 3 accompanying sours sound amazing!

Tete du Cuvee is my favorite saison from them. Have loved every batch that has been released. Despite the steep price, this is a hell of a package.

Great package, but they are really nailing everyone by including the most expensive sours. I mean, I assume that is the reason for the bump to $200 and not just a price increase.

Wish they would stop including more glasses. The only nice BBT glass released so far is the one with little light bulbs. And some of them (the glasses from some of the releases) were downright the ugliest glasses I have ever seen. You know what I’m talking about.

What, I can't appreciate that the beers are good and mostly loved, while also complaining that they chose to make the most expensive package possible?

We go through this every time, but somehow people seem to forget that no brewery (or liquor store) gets a pass like SP does. Every thread for a brewery with high prices has people bitching, but people seem to forget that SP is the only one with sycophant followers that seem to think that Cory can do no wrong. He deserves criticism just like everyone does.

And the thing is, do you know how other threads get past it? By letting people bitch. Has anyone ever read the Bourbon County thread? Given me a break.

No, no one has to buy packages, but it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with bitching about Cory's choice to push packages. If I am going to buy a $200 package, this is a good one, but would I rather buy a 1BBT, 1 sour $135 package? Fuck yea. I'd rather have that even if the sour was paint-stripper Blueberry Flanders. Hell, I'd rather pay $100 for BBT by itself.

I just wish the window was until November first or second. I’d feel better about the purchase on pay day.

C’mon dude, we’ve all seen enough of your posts where this is an easy BS call. You most definitely would have complained about $100 BBT or $135 BBT+bad sour package

No matter the price, package, bottle size, limit, method of release etc, he would have found something to complain about. What a sad miserable existence

I'm just happy BBT stayed in the 750mL format. Here's to hoping they produced a similar quantity to last year and all us slow clickers get one.

Hey, fair enough - I am a vocal SP critic even if not the most vocal anymore (I post what, 5 times a year in this thread now?). $100 BBT is high - about $20 over on-site, right? But this is about preferences - what you prefer. -Compared to having to buy a $200 package, I'd gladly take the $100 BBT. Otherwise, I have to find something to do with my sours. Unless I can sell them local at cost, I'm losing money I wouldn't have to lose if I could have just paid $100 for BBT alone.

The vast majority of BBT purchasers would take this option if given the option. Otherwise, SP wouldn't need to do packages.

    very excited for Fermier v23
awesome package. i’ve been pondering the idea of a SP oak-aged lager for a while now and while this isn’t quite what i had in mind i am still fully on board with it.
