Samuel Adams Winter Pack Sightings (2023)

I believe I saw some at my local bottle shop the other day. I was looking for something else but noted new mixed packs from Sam Adams in a staging area where they stack cases before putting them out. I'm ready to grab some of the Winter Lager once they start putting it out. Always enjoy that one.

 

Looks like this is the lineup:

Cold IPA
Fezziwig
Oaked Vanilla Porter (new)
Winter Lager

I'll likely snag a 12 pack at some point, mostly for Fezzi.

 

Might be old news to some, but looks like Old Fezziwig will be in 6 packs this year.

 

This is new news for me. I have posted numerous times, over many years, that Old Fezziwig should be a standalone (e.g., six-pack) beer. Do you have any further details here? Will Old Fezziwig be widely distributed (e.g., nationwide)? When will it be available?

Don't forget everyone, we should also be getting the fan favorites, or whatever they called it, variety pack coming out in November at some point.

 

No idea if it will be a national release but just scrolling around I see a few places having the sixers in. In fact, a couple of distributors in Lancaster, PA are showing it (e.g., Kirchner's Beverage Distributor, Wheatland Beer Distributors). Not sure if anywhere near you.



ETA: Seeing a place in Westland MI having it too so perhaps it will be nationally distributed?

 

Well, Lancaster is farther to drive than my preference. Hopefully this beer will eventually make its way to the Philly area.

Old Fezziwig 6 packs here in North NJ! Been waiting years for this!!

 

Fan favorites and winter pack both sound good to me! Hope to see them at Costco as I don't mind getting a 24 pack of each.

 

Havent seen it yet. The first winter seasonal that always seem to show up first here is Harpoon Winter Warmer for some reason.

 

I just saw on the SA site that it was available. Hallelujah!

But, so far here in Georgia, it's only available at some Sam's Club locations. Hope it's not some exclusivity thing with Sam and Sam's here.

 

I can't wait to find 6'ers of Old Fezziwig! Holy shit! This is going to be a great winter for beer!
