Been wanting to try this coffee beer for a while. Get my chance today.

 

G'day all!

I'm sipping on a Pig Trail Porter from Diamond Bear Brewing and it's pretty good. There's lots of roasted malt and dark chocolate with hints of coffee. The hops do impart a bit of a bite to it, which I could do without.

Sipping an Against The Grain ‘Nutsy Boys’ Imperial Stout (brewed with Florida-grown macadamia nuts.,. Cheeeeers!

Good Word Brewing for lunch. This is a cask ale collab with Creature Comforts. An English style IPA - Miles From Home 5.1%.
Very tasty. Bready & grainy with a spicy herbal hops character. Has a nice bitter kick that doesn't linger too long. Served at 52°F.

Lots of good beers on tap today!
Kolsch, Helles, pre-prohibition lager, German Pils, Marzen, Schwarzbier, Czech Dark Mild, Altbier, Saison, Hazy DIPA, Berliner Weisse just to name a few.

 

Nice to see a rarely seen style, Kentucky Common. Cool photo as usual.

Moving to some hops from Toronto. Boneshaker Unfiltered IPA by Amsterdam Brewery tastes great with solid citrus/pine and an excellent malt backbone.

GWB brewer Todd brought me two samples Czech Pale Lager on the right and - hoppy Lager on the left. Czech Pale is tremendous. Hoppy Lager needs a little more carbonation but it's not quite done yet - right off the tank!

 

It's Friday evening and I'd like to say the working week is done, unfortunately I'm working tomorrow. That's not stopping the beer though!

I went to Lowe's Foods which was the only place that had Celebration for a few days (it's everywhere now) and found Cigar City Jai Alai less than three months old.

Can't drink just one when it shows up intact.

Hello BAs. Thanks @AzfromOz for today's thread. It's a raw, cold & windy day here. Nicer indoors. So, in need of some pathway direction today, I've chosen a grail of 2023 Lagunitas The Waldos' Special Ale TIPA 11.7% ABV. Tip Top. Bought the bottle 6/15. Should get me going. Cheers!!
