My favorite cellared stouts without question are the Fifty/Fifty Eclipse BA Imperial Stout series. I never had fresh, but would like to try for comparison. I tried 6year old bottles this past February, and they all held up very well.

They add honey to the mix which may have something to do with extending the longevity (at least with the honey / sweetness), or perhaps just suites my palate best. Very well balanced, flavors intact for the five variants I tried. Bought the bottles for $10 each via a sale at the start of shutdowns two years prior, and this series was my favorite.

Honorable mention to regular BCBS, these beers hold up consistently well over time, though I prefer them fresh as the regular and a majority of the releases are on point from the first day.

    Cheers!

I admit that I have a soft spot for Belgian ales.
Lambics of course, I like them at about 7 or 8 years old.
Het Anker Gouden Carolus Cuvee van de Keizer Blauw,, now called Imperial Dark. Ages effortlessly, I currently have 14 or 15 vintages and a bargain at under $15 for a 750ml.
Struisse Pannepot and Black Damnation and others. I like them fresh too!
Bourbon Barrel Stouts. I find them better balanced with a couple of years in the bottle.
    Thomas Hardy Ale.

I have a few I like to cellar, however, my most favorite is North Coast Old Stock Ale. I still have a few dated 2006 that are 13.25abv. Am waiting till they turn 20 years old to drink, I had one 3-years ago, and it was very tasty to say the least.

Who, what a tough choice just naming 1 best beer to age.
    Can I name 15? I guess not.
Well, after some consideration I will nominate Oerbier as the absolute winner followed by Rochefort 10, Val Dieu Grand Cru, Gulden Draak, Rodenbach Vintage, Girardin Black Label, Boon Marriage Parfait, Hanssens Oude Kriek, Gouden Carolus Xmas, Gouden Carolus Cuvée van de Keizer, Sint-Bernardus Xmas, Abbaye des Rocs Triple Imperiale, Bush Prestige, Bush de Nuits, Orval, all running on second place.
