    It’s a bit lighter in real life, but it’s a very pretty beer from a really solid local brewery.

    1) Montucky Cold Snacks (4.1%): An American Adjunct Lager from Montana with flavors of pale malts, cracker, faint yeast.
    versus
    2) Heileman's Old Style (4.64%): An American Adjunct Lager popular in the Northern Midwest for flavors of pale malts, adjuncts, bread, creamed corn, milk. Smooth and soft. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    2) Heileman's Old Style:     American Adjunct Battle. First up is Cold Snacks. Pretty much clean and crisp as it gets. Flavor is minimal. I cannot appreciate much here.
    Next is Old Style. A beer that originally used Krausening as a fermentation process, which is now the "old-style". No longer using it, but the I think recipe is still the same. Smooth pale malts, some bread, cereal and cream notes. It has a notable smoothness. Not an easy style to appreciate, but I'm starting to respect this for an American Lager.
