That beer vessel is a beauty. It's got Joni Mitchell "written" all over it! Where is Stardust or is it a beer?

 

As we have talked about before, I had heard of Zorn and listened to a few things from him before, but the CD's you gave me were my first real listening of him. They are great and I still have them in my rotation. I have noticed a lot of his stuff is noticeably gone from the YouTube as well. A good friend of mine is a great bass player around Houston. He is actually on tour now with some other players in Japan. He named his cat Zorn, but he just passed about a month ago

 

A couple of good beers and some laughs at the pub this afternoon…home now for the evening, settling in with a Voodoo RangerJuice Force IPA:



Juicy sweet orange, crisp and clean, packs a punch at 9.5%. Cheers y’all!

 

Next up and a damn fine brew, from a little local brewery.

 

Drekker Bobbin' For Prrrts Caramel Apple Sour, 6.3% ABV. Pours thick and opaque medium-green with a two-finger light-green head that left a hella-mess puree residue. Aroma is caramel, pear, vanilla, and apple. Taste is strong caramel followed by pear, vanilla, and apple, quite sweet, faintly tart. Decent thick and creamy mouthfeel. Overall outstanding. Luckily caramel steals the show (not a fan of apple beers).

Return To Forever changes up again, just slightly. With Al Dimeola as the new guitarist, instead of Bill Connors. Still a very good band. Though the other two iterations were better.

I don’t get the opportunity to try stuff from Other Half very often, so I seize each occurrence with both hands , because they are world class, IMHO. This hazy is all tropical fruits, with passion fruit, pineapple, lemon, and mango all sharing top billing. Really flavorful and balanced, definitely a beer I’d have again and again.

 

Agreed. He is kind of like Kieth Jarrett in that regard. He always had strict copyrights with all youtube and all the streaming services. So for a long time, he wasn't available there, and only sporadically available now. Though he has a 60 year career of making music, and most is easily available at your local record store for cheap
