My last of these from a 4pk. Amazing single hop Nelson brew. I think it's even matured after about 45 days. Dripping with that white grape/ gooseberry flavors and aromas, as well as tropical passionfruit. Fades into a perfect pine/grapefruit bitterness. Soft as heck.
Really dynamite SHB. I will pay the extra $ for Modestman. They're almost always worth it.

 

The music was performed by the Wrecking Crew. Chuck Berghofer said getting that intro on the bass was really difficult.

 

Record heat today. Had to turn the AC on so my son could sleep. He has to be at work at 0300.

Well, for me, it was a Wednesday. Last Wednesday I had a colonoscopy because my Cologuard tested positive for colon cancer. Anyway, the nurse was putting electrodes patches to my chest and they would not stick. She said I had a lot of fur. What the hell! She attached even more. At the end of the procedure when I was conscious the nurse said she would not take them off. Asked that my wife do so when I got home.

Fuck Mike where are you going with this? Your point? Damn, I forgot. Anyway, I tore them off.

Lake Erie Monster from GLBC. Really malty and bitter up front but not in a good way. Just tastes like it's not a finished product. Powering through this one to get to something better.

My local spots didn't have any. Hoping I can swing by Total Wine later this week. So far have Permanent Funeral, Hopslam, and The Cranfather in my cart there. Since it's an hour away I like to have a bigger cart to make the trek. Taking other suggestions if you have anything. I'm up in MI so should have a somewhat similar selection.

My friend, I agree. I have been a Zep fan since the early 70’s (yep, I am that old). Not sure how I survived my early Zep and Tull days. Must have been the good pizza I could get.
