Half Acre Brewing Co. (2023)

Well dang….. oh well.. anxious to try this year’s 2x4. It was my favorite beer at fobab last year.

 

While picking up DW, stopped by and everything Benthic-wise still in cooler it seems but Immortal is down to a few 2pks. Not sure if they have more in back or if that's it.

 

I was doing the same yesterday and they still had box sets available to purchase, in addition to what was in the coolers.

 

Anyone know what’s in the cooler?

Including 2x4? (sorry I’m not sure if this has been available outside of the Benthic box this year)

 

Yeah, just part of the box set. I don't think HA have had 2x4 from this release in the cooler based on comments read.

 

...I thought I saw 2x4 in the cooler, but I guess maybe I didnt? I'd call 'em to confirm, @Raj

 

Yep, it is in the cooler. Picked some up yesterday.

 

All the Benthic variants were in the cooler yesterday.

Yessir! I was there yesterday around 4pm and they still had a healthy amount in the cooler.

 

Hazelnut benthic and raspberry chocolate benthic were stunniing

 

Most of my group got the raspberry on release day and didn't like it. I was the only one who got the orange and did like it - was a cool change of pace.

I don't like raspberries all that much, sour beer sometimes the exception, so didn't try it myself.

 

I wanted more orange flavor from the Orange benthic but it was the lesser of the two for me. It was cool to see these as draft only options though.
