@VABA , hows this one? I like the 'composition'.
I'm still getting my palate exposed to sours, but this is a nice change of pace, if nothing else.

Why are Dylan songs worse when he sings them? Clearly he can write music. He understands chords and words, but his voice couldn't find a pitch if it were waving strobe-lit mirror balls.

It’s been the go to for me seriously. I just always want something very light. Carbonated. This for me is similar to coors light but has more bitterness.

    1) Tucher Brau Festbier (5.8%): A German Festbier with flavors of pale Munich malt, rich bread, toasted malts. Mildly sweet.
    versus
    2) Andechs Spezial Hell (5.8%): A German Festbier with flavors of earth and pale Munich malt, light honey and floral notes. Mildly sweet and smooth. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    2) Andechs Spezial Hell
: German Festbier Battle. Finishing off the Festbiers with my top two from the year. First up is Tucher Brau. It has rich and authentic Munich malts. Drinking slightly darker and more toasted than other versions, but the flavors are spot on.
Next is Andechs. Earthy Munich malt flavors with some honeysuckle sweetness. Very much reminds me of Ayinger Jahrhundert. This is an excellent festbier and calling it my favorite of the year.

My German Festbier Rankings this year are:
    1) Andechs
    2) Tucher
    3) Paulaner
    4) Weihenstephaner
    5) Arcobrau

I believe this is the last of the vintage 2011 beers in my beer fridge—time to move on to the 2012s. Cheers!

For now, following the NA way until I feel better or somewhat recovered.

6 miler this a.m., then two separate small weighted vest walks to and from gym. Feels good to be lifting some real weight again instead of just band and body work (not that there's anything wrong with that but...).

    Cheers!

Not sure what is going on with me. I must have suffered a stroke or something. I went from despising imperial stouts to craving them all the time virtually overnight. Bought a bunch of them and have been drinking them back to back.
