It was in the Untappd Top Rated beers box which you purchased through NY's Half Time beverage.

Looks like its still available: https://halftimebeverage.com/untappd-top-rated-box-68774

Pretty weak you couldn't take the time to separate between Ghana and Ecuadorian cocoa nibs

(kidding obv - was fun list to read through)

Minutiae / Arabesque info. Best beers they make by a country mile IMO.

    Minutiae 2023
Minutiae is our yearly blend of barrel-aged imperial stout recipes that showcases some of our favorite casks blended with thought and a specific idea in mind.
For Minutiae 2023 we had access to the widest range of stout recipes and age time we've ever had. Seven different imperial stouts aged between 23 and 44 months. Varying whiskey casks along with the range in age and specific choice of grains used in each of the seven recipes used, offers the most complex Minutiae to date. Notes of dark cocoa, creamy coconut, vanilla, charred wood, spice, leather and subtle smoke tannins.

    Arabesque 2023

When we first filled casks with Arabesque Mid 2020 we aged the base Dark English-Style Barleywine in freshly emptied Heaven Hill casks without knowing the impact the casks would have on the beer until almost 20 months later (this was after our 2022 version had already been brewed and put into new casks). We immediately realized the marriage of those Heaven Hill casks and our base barleywine was perfect. When we had the opportunity to put a new batch of Arabesque base into casks, we knew we were using HH again.
For our 2023 Arabesque, we aged it for 23 months in freshly dumped Heaven Hill bourbon casks – the longest age time for Arabesque to date. Notes of toffee, caramel, Biscoff cookies, spicy, aromatic bourbon, and charred oak sit atop a decadent base beer built from UK Marris Otter and a variety of UK Crystal malts.

Yes for Arabesque and no for Minutiae, reverse of how it went last year. I’ll take it!

Neither my wife nor I have ever won a P3 lottery and at least I have entered just about every single one of them. What did I ever do to P3? :disappointed

Yes for Minutiae, no for Arabesque. I think I've only ever won two P3 lottos and the other one was Minutiae last year. Apparently I unknowingly came to an agreement with some higher power that said "ok you can have Minutiae once a year but that's it, you're cut off otherwise." I'll take that over nothing!

Edit: went through post history and I was incorrect, BA pressed was the other lotto I got smiled upon for. I think I got Minutiae from a cellar sale last year.

I stopped by for beers and dinner at their new Elmhurst outpost. Top notch but be warned, it gets super crowded early and it can be hard to grab seats.

Thought the soaked in oak event was great. Everything flowed smoothly, 8 taps of ba beer, still all flowing when we arrived mid afternoon. Cheers

If you had been there at open or in the first couple hours you might have a different opinion. I got there at 11:15. It was the most crowded I have ever seen. I parked all the way down the road where it ended in an empty cul-de-sac, walked over and it then took 45 minutes just to buy the tickets. I got lucky and saw some friends in line for the beer pours so joined them and it only took about 10 minutes after that to get pours. But I noticed the people who had been behind me in line for tickets that it took them about 35 minutes after getting tickets to get their pours.

After about 1pm it was more manageable, but those first couple hours sucked. The worst is standing in a line and not knowing what the heck is going on. There was no communication, no signage, nothing. The beers were fantastic (the Chocolate Pistachio what could be was a standout), but the experience wasn't the greatest.

Dang, first time adjustment I guess. Everything made it to 330 which is impressive given how crowded it was earlier

Worst for you, great for their manufacturing hype where dumb slow lines are hype currency. Honestly for as weak value as the ticketed timed setup was in prior years, sounds like it would make more sense to go back to at least having them split up the crowd by time from a customer enjoyment standpoint. With the timed setup I never waited more than a minute or two for a pour.

Yes, timing was everything. I got there just before open at 11. Giant line to get tickets, then another line to get beer. Was a total shit-show. Waited over an hour to get our first beer.
Once you got your ticket people did not know where the beer line started and it was so tight everyone leaving with their tickets had to walk sideways and bump into everyone else in line.
Did they forget beer geeks tend to not be real skinny?
Yes the beer was very good. Dang that Arabesque was thick! I thought it was a mislabeled stout at first.
Everything was still available when we left at 2ish. Triple barrel must not have been nearly as 'Limited' as they made it sound.
I hope they learn and fix things for next year. Why could they not sell tickets to the people in the first huge line with handheld devices? It was the most disappointing beer event I have been to in years. Again the beers were very good, but it was a really bad setup at open. If similar next year, no way will I show up at open. I'll roll in a few hours later with no FOMO and enjoy what is available.
