Yeah, agreed on this, a mixed berry Deth could bring some complexity that would really pop off with the added complexities of Rev's BA program.

Are you totally set on fruit and would never consider doing nuts? Pecans, Hazelnuts, I know you guys have experience with Peanuts and PB, all of those would fit the naming conventions and would compliment the base Deth very well.

Also Ancho chilies or maybe even multiple peps... Deth by Mexican Hot Chocolate?

No, but seriously, I'm here for Deth by Onions.

Yeah, I almost brought up nuts myself, that's something I've been really enjoying in the stouts I've had (Old Irving has some BA stuff with nuts that I've been drinking like water).

I like where you are going with this! I would say these would be delicous in the Deth series as well:

Macadamia nut Deth, Vanilla & macadamia nut Deth, and coconut & macadamia nut Deth.

    Pecan Deth.

Hazelnut Deth and Vanilla / Hazelnut Deth.

It could be called the "Deth by Nuts" Series!!!!

Deth Nuts has been discussed on here ad nauseum with positive support from the community. Either Rev has no desire to make it or they feel the finished product will never live up to the product name.

Well, I exaggerated lol, I have way less cans of the stuff than I'd like. But I was talking about this year's Krampus Kandy (has almonds in it) and last year's Peanut Butter Krampus (ok, peanut isn't a nut, but still!) which I hoarded for most of the past year.

I still think they're a little sweet this year (an issue I had with last year's lineup), but yeah, they're good, and I really liked Kandy.

Seems like distribution has tightened up for us in SE MI. I used to be able to find Tar/Cafe and Jacket a month after it dropped here. Now my local shop only has for one can per person. Never had limits before. Last year we barely received any Straight Jacket either. Bummer

I will say one thing I’ve consistently appreciated about the Deep Woods series is that it generally seems the antithesis of pastry. Some of this talk is making me real nervous.

Did I miss where Rev said they were discontinuing their vast non adjunct lineup?

I trust them with the right balance of any ingredient (or maybe the barrel team can create the flavor without the ingredient a la Dread and Breakfast) so all suggestions should be welcome. Doug asked for market research and then the normal Rev decision making will filter through the best matches for what they are interested to try next.

Similar sentiments. Doug literally asked about a potential Deth by ____ fruit recommendation. When did we take a hard left into pastry town? We can get kitchen sink beers from so many other breweries. We don't need this from Rev.
