I used to party with these guys that did the Renaissance fair re-enactment and they'd weave chainmail while we watched movies. One a was stellar homebrewer! Praise the sun!

Nice! I was surfin' NOLA pix and stumbled onto mask links then thought of Viking-era helmets. Amazing how they're still intimidating even today.

It's best on tap imo. This year is really good to I'm not going to lie. Doubt I'll see the bottles unfortunately. Was hard to not get plastered on 4$ pints of celebration cause my mind was going there...

 

Stopped by my place to grab some mid-Atlantic mid-2010s DIPA. Also to try some beers from DC’s newest (AFAIK) brewery - just turning one year old, it seems.


This is Lost Generation’s Grave Shift dark lager. Quite roasty with a firm bitterness in back.

Jersey folk - they actuality got some Twin Elephant in, got a small pour of Foggiest Notion and liked it (@MacMalt @hopsputin @jonphisher). Pretty soon we won’t need to travel up the coast to try your beers

 

Craving something from the Wild Turkey distillery myself. Maybe I can score some WB Saffel next trip.
