What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4047

Good morning BA.
2 1/2 hours in on a 14lb brisket smoke.

 

Starting the day with the last of this nice offering from Tucher. Even though the beer doesn't have a overly attractive body, in my opinion, it has a good head on its shoulders and the substance within is satisfying. I especially like the malty flavor that hangs on for a little while after each sip.


Going to make some lasagna today, starting with a homemade Italian turkey sausage tomato sauce. Already started some initial mise en place as I made morning omelettes. I'll get to the rest around halftime of the first games.

Another beer from my IP trade with @Number1Framer this summer in Milwaukee. A little on the oaky side for me, still a good boozy American Barleywine Ale. Working on my tasting notes for NBW…

Fairly ok budget (less than £2 a can) NEIPA.

 

Cutting up cooked chicken breasts and veggies to make soup for the fam later this weak…now drinking a beer I haven’t had for a couple of years - Arkane’s “Fat Clouds” Citra DDH DIPA:



Even better than I remembered! An excellent HazyLite with Grapefruit, peach, melon and a lychee finish. I love Citra. Cheers y’all!

 

Why I do believe I see the makings of cheesesteaks for lunch, and that calls for a celebration!!

The Wolf, a Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout from 3 Sheeps. This 2023 variant with Pecans, Coconut, and Vanilla. Delicious as is the usual with this beer. Cheers, BAs!
