A tough one to answer, as I live in Texas. We are not the South. We are not the Southwest. We are Texas. And will die defending our stance.

Still zero votes from Africa. Can’t say I’m not disappointed. Especially with Namibia, Gabon, and Congo in the top 20 beer drinking countries on the planet. Come on guys.

    Maybe this will help.

I’m over caffeinated so I’m just blabbering here. There’s a show called Fuck that’s Delicious. There’s an episode where they are in France. If you ever happen to see this show. These guys remind me of my friends and I growing up in north jersey/Brooklyn. Anyways. They go into the catacombs and the one guy duct tapes garbage bags around his shoes because he’s afraid he will get his new sneakers ruined or wet and the interaction because of this is one of the funniest things I’ve seen. Most likely from similar experiences but yea. France looks pretty cool.

I only just graduated high school in early 2010s so I’m unsure what they teach before or after but I remember them teaching us if something ever happened to the US that Texas would be the only state with the ability to 100% sustain stability and infrastructure within its in state lines with zero outside help. Power grids. Food. All that. If only they taught me more important shit haha

Thanks for the show recommendation. I was obviously a bit sardonic and not everything is that bad here. Every single country is flawed anyway. Cheers buddy.

This is likely explained by the fact that the major text book publishers are based in texas.

Thanks to Bob Seger, I'm gonna put this whole Great Lakes/Midwest thing to rest.

Seger was born in Detroit & grew up in Ann Arbor MI. He says: "I've got no quarrel with the Midwest, I've lived there all my life, I've been their guest" (1:25 min)....There you have it, Bob has spoken, all of those states, MI, IL, IN, WI, MN, etc etc are the Midwest:wink::grin:!

I travel in a fried out Kombi, usually on a hippie trail, my head full of Zombies. I often meet strange ladies. They provide me with breakfast. I come from a land when women glow, and men plunder.

I've bought bread from extremely muscley Belgian men, beer certainly flows, and men definitely chunder (especially when it comes to our local Macro lagers).

I've lived in a den in Bombay. I had a slack jaw, but without much to say. You can't tempt me, for I reside in the land of plenty.

As mentioned, we're well know for our extremely boring range of Macro lagers that are nonsense. We have a flourishing craft scene, that gets pushed off to one side by your foreign-owned macros. We DO NOT (and please, I emphasize) drink Fosters. We might have once back when stubbies, singlets, mullets were fashionable. Asking for a Fosters in a pub will most likely get you laughed out of town, back to the airport and to your country of origin.

Yes. I'm from Australia. Sydney specifically. There's a few of us around on here, but we're like an outback pub with craft beer. Rare as hens teeth.

I envy the craft scene in the U.S, although that's about all I envy. That and the fact alcohol isn't taxed to the ninth degree. We've a good craft scene going, and it's slowly getting stronger and more noticed.

    I'll stop rambling now.
