Peekskill Brewery announced that they are closing on 11/22. Although they're not quite the destination that they were since chief left, it's still sad to hear.

One of the few around here back in the day putting out better beer. Enjoyable days spent in the original location, and then in the much better one next to the tracks. Really peaked with Chief at the wheel, some of the best beer around came out of his/Peekskill's brewery. Sad to hear that it's closing. I'm out of the scene anymore except as interested spectator, but man in the five years since I've been on sidelines seems like sooo many breweries are going under. @Billolick @slander
Sad to see this! We would stop there in this beautiful part of the country on our way to Boston to visit our daughter who lived there. We want to the original and larger newer one, enjoyed them both.
Any rumors about who might be interested in taking the space over? Good location and plenty of room and upper floors to utilize
Oh no, that's sad news about Peekskill Brewery. It's always tough to say goodbye to a local classic. Their legacy will surely be remembered. RIP Peekskill Brewery.
