I can't imagine it being unhygienic. Like @SLeffler27 pointed out, it's probably just mineral residue. I have hard water, and I get this all the time. It is a pain in the ass to get rid of, though.

 

The vagina is a self cleaning oven in the same way that I do not need to clean my glasses. Beer is alive; within that life is a bond we share you clearly you don't understand. Now, I can understand letting the soap run down and calling that 'clean legs. That's just hygiene, but you are taking away key elements to the habitat. My glass does not need to be clean when a homeostasis (no homo) has been formed between the germs and I. You all continue to make war using products with false pretenses like Fabuloso (OH WHAT A GOOD TIME) or Dawn (THE DAWN OF YOUR DEATH). I just want to make sure you all know you're ancestors will look down on you for 'clean glasses'. HAVE YOU NOT HEARD OF KOMBUCHA. FIENDS!!!

 

Do you have high iron in your water (if it is city water you can get a water quality report)? That can lead to discoloring faster.

Also, if you have a water softener might want to look at what type of salt you are using vs your water.
