    Hello to one and all!

    Currently drinking Brewdog Punk IPA. Can’t say I’m one of their biggest fan as they’re very “mainstream” and sketchy as a brewery but it’s a change of path from Belgian tripel or American IPA…

    I remember finding a bunch of these at an Aldi or Lidl in Bulgaria a few years back. The IPA of the same brewery was very good and I dare say resembled Heady Topper to some degree. And at $0.50 a can it was a bargain.

    Back to back French posts to open. I'm in the middle of a five day Michigan Stout/Porter tour, going from highest ABV to lowest.

    This one held up very well, possibly improved over the past three years.

    Yes - Lidl. I have a couple of the IPA and Stout lounging in the fridge.,.

    Avec les Bons Voeux, de la Brasserie Dupont. One of my all-time favourite beers. In the background three bombers I bought for the holiday season.

    The “Bons Vœux” was born in 1970. Back then, if you were lucky enough to taste some on New Year’s Day, you must have been a very loyal customer. Exclusive and highly sought after, this beer was brewed in limited quantities. It would be pre-ordered months in advance. Nowadays it is available to buy in shops (in NW Europe).

    ...chances are I'll be in TX in late March...Round Top to help a former boss with a showing...don't know how far that is from you or what my schedule (or transportation) will be like, but something to think about...
