    Cheers, @mschrei !! I'm coming to you from Taiwan. My race ended this morning! It went on for 24 hours and there were many ups and downs. I managed to run just shy of 130 miles, but got to witness a new world record. My legs are completely wiped out and my wife has the pleasure of listening to my whining and assisting my every move. Flying home tomorrow and I'm hoping the legs feel better!

    I'm drinking a Taiwan craft beer - Taiwan Buck from Redpoint Brewing. A really nice doppelbock. Notes over in the NBW thread. Cheers all!

    @Beersnake1 - am I reading that right? You ran 130 miles over 24 hours? The first thing that comes to mind is you’re an f-ing monster, and I admire you for that. The second thing that comes to mind is WHY WOULD YOU EVEN ATTEMPT THAT?!?

    But I currently have an arthritic left knee that was scoped last year and a right knee that has arthritis and a torn meniscus, so I’m in pain even before hearing you say what you did.

    Anywho, I should probably be sleeping, but I’m onto the second of one of my favorite barrel aged stouts I haven’t had in a while. Need to pace myself, I still haven’t figured out what will be day 2 of my beers of December.

    What, is self-torture not enjoyed by all? I saw lots of people vomiting, some people passing out, and many other crazy things. At one point I fell asleep (lightly) while walking - very strange! And now that it's over, I vowed I would never do this again. Next week, I will probably have a different answer! Am I right, @eppCOS ?

    Holy Bucking Taiwan, @Beersnake1 !!! Way to get that SH*T DONE, wow. I saw a few mentions of that world event via social media, heard that Camille had dropped out, and couldn't remember if you were doing it this year. WELL DONE. Awesome... just in awe.

    Yep, I was talking to Camille and she said she was just too exhausted to continue after Spartathlon. She was flying up until then! A woman from Japan beat Camille's 24-hour record by 0.2km and I was right there when it happened. Very cool!

    I’ve been interested in ultra marathons ever since I saw Courtney Dauwalter on Joe Rogan. She’s a savage. Just don’t have the time at the moment with 2 small kids! Still try to get in my 2-3 mile runs at night, though. Congrats and nice work!

    Good morning BAs
    I have harvested the daily limit of oysters this morning, weather was good for this time of year in these parts. The coachette had hot from the oven banana bread waiting for me, life is awesome, I’m thankful.

    Luscious imperial stout from Alchemist. I bought it a year ago and the bb date is 5/24. One of the best stouts I’ve had in a while. Creamy smooth and thick mouth feel, nice roasty and chocolate notes. Cheers!

    I'm sipping on another New England IPA from New Hampshire of all places. I acquired it from the Good Times Oakland monthly beer club. Thanks Bryan! (I canceled my City Brew Tours subscription because it was just too expensive for 8 beers per month). Oh and snow is predicted for tonight and tomorrow...
