Good morning/afternoon/evening BAs! Morning chores done, it’s coffee time - Revolution’s “Deth’s Tar” (2023):



Bottled 10/4/23. Poured at 52°. Boozy bourbon and chocolate. Never fails to satisfy.

Cool and breezy today with overcast skies. I’ll do some Christmas cards this morning, then run some errands this afternoon. There will be a market and food truck at HBS at 4pm so I’ll probably end up at the pub later today. Cheers and have a fab Friday y’all!

 

If this is the Costco Advent box, a couple of years back I tracked the beers in the box and most tracked back to the same brewery - apparently a contract brewer that differentiates brews by changing the labels. i haven't bought a pack since.

 

Good day BAs! Yt anoth summer day here on the tundra on NW PA - 31F/-1C, clear and sunny - hell, it may break 53F/11C - heat wave! Get out the shorts and lawnmower!

Today's New Breakfast Beer:



A very high octane (15.5%) Murican barleywine from the Frog! Dunno if I like the treacle flavor, but it's definitely at a reasonable price point. Rating 4.2, rDev -0.2%

 

Rainy cold day here. Expecting to be able to get out to Celestial for some weekend beers eventually.

Back again BAs! The typos in my previous posts show why I shouldn't drink barleywines and type! Rough morning - my favorite little girl snapping turtle actually bit me and drew blood when I was feeding her - again, breakfast barleywine slows my reflexes. This beer is yesterday's New Breakfast Beer, but I got interrupted while reviewing it and couldn't, in good conscious, finish it after an hour+ interruption. So I popped another can today to finish (and update) the review.



A very nice orangey, fresh-tasting, fruit and field brewski. I don't detect any chocolate, but my son says he does. Rating 4.17, rDev +10%

 

I'm done with my meetings for today (I think) and I have decided that I've had enough. I need something to clear my head. This is canned on 12/5 so it delivers a nice hoppy punch to my snout. Love it.
