    1) Sam Adams Old Fezziwig (5.9%):
A Winter Warmer from Boston with flavors of rich bread, toasted caramel, red fruit and amber malts. Spiced and dry.
    versus
    2) Schells Snowstorm 2023 (6.5%): A Rye Beer from Minnesota with flavors of rich bread, caramel, syrup and rye. Sweet. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    1) Sam Adams Old Fezziwig:
Seasonal Ale battle. First up is Old Fezziwig. Actually my first time trying this one. It drinks in typical Sam Adams fashion. Rich bread, toasty, spiced with red fruit. Still dry and drinkable. I see the hype for this beer.
Next is Schells Snowstorm, a rye beer. Nice caramel, toasted notes with rye spice. Similar, but slightly more sweet and heavy. Both are great, but I thought Old Fezziwig is excellent.

Finally trying Peche Mortel. I agree with a review i saw that its at its most coffee bitter when its cold and gets sweeter as it warms. Good stuff

The really good wet hop brew Vector does is so similar. Has to be similar hop n malt bill as Celebration. I found Celebration still carries that notorious SN boldness thats hard for any brewery to reproduce. Vectors was more delicate floraly and slightly more resinous.

I have no doubt. The Vector beers you had sent me were spot on. They know what they are doing.

Brother Brian has arrived and he went straight to bed for his afternoon nap following a hard day loafing and lollygaging uptown … my sauce will be all the better for the delay!

Lol, word! Love it. I say this while I'm about to crack open a DDH Ghost In The Machine, but we can all agree that I'm not actually a hazeboi.

Ah yes. A hazy that doesn't suck. I think that it's the simplicity of this beer that makes it so special. Nothing too complex, but without any flaws either. Just like the OG, just a tiny bit more aromatic.

...it's a classic WBAYDN? tale of Sheboygan madness, especially as told by Dave, but Micah also has some great takes on the event...

If it makes you feel better I read it thrice before I got it.

Also, I told my therapist that no one understands me.

She said: « what do you mean by that? »

Lov'n this Fiden's beer from @TCgenny. It sports Citra and two NZ hops, Rakau and Motueka. That explains why its named after a New Zealand island.
Expect a surprise mid-January Tom, I have a plan in mind.
