I was curious how long a BBT will hold up after opening. I had to miss a big share last week and a friend recapped with some special cap thing. Gifted me essentially 1/2 the bottle today since I missed the share. Just curious if I should lower my expectations never having had BBT a lot or just a little l

 

i would probably drink it asap. if it was just a day or two ago, i would say you’d be fine (usually day 2 is the best when i’ve consumed bigger sized bottles over multiple days).

 

Some might say it’s better the next day too

 

Yeah, it’s past for sure. Nice gesture, but I’ll have to snag another bottle to truly experience it. It’s oxidized too much.

 

BBT '20, KdF, Coex Purple, and a CdC blend is the gift bag of the day at the brewery.

 

You'd be surprised though. I had a bottle of maltvin open for a week and a half that I kept and it hissed when I took the cap off and tasted fine

this seemed like a fitting choice for a christmas beer. it’s basically christmas in a bottle and my favorite of all the gin-BA beers (which need to make an immediate comeback). merry christmas and cheers!!
