I have not tasted a 25th beer yet. I passed on it about 5 times when at the taprooms. I will drink some this winter thou. It appears that Gold Label was produced in larger quantity than many of the other labels. Some bars in WI have it on tap now.

Extremely doubtful given these have so far only been sold to go out of the Amherst and Mke locations. The Discount Liquor one is available in store as I'm guessing the Binny's one will be too but those are special cases.

I'm shocked the Pappy one is still available but hype doesn't seem to sell like it used to. Seems like they make enough of all this stuff now they could send any of it out to stores including Black Gold.

VERY doubtful you will find Gold label in MN. but ya never know it could happen.

CW Binny's collab is in the Binny's system. $19.99 per. Even shows Skokie has it in stock right now. Guessing FIBs will start seeing it this week.

12 slumbers is really a wonderful beer.

    I’m debating buying a case…. :whale:

How does it compare with the other Weller 25 Anny?

I was debating cracking a 12 Slumbers or a BCBS Eagle Rare last night because who wants to wrap presents sober? Settled on the 12 Seasons and damn that is a fine beverage. The barrels doing some huge heavy lifting on that one. None of that 16% until it hits the back of your nostrils riding that chocolatey breeze on the way out. I've only had three different 25 variants but this was easily my favorite.

I'd give the nod to the Weller 25, but I had them spaced so far out I'm terrible at comparisons like that so YMMV. They're both really good and a solid price point. No losers IMO.

Also wrapped over 2 nights and had a half pour of 12 Slumbers each night. Definitely some chocolate notes happening.

I'll give a nod to the Discount Liquor collab. The bottle said it was aged 6 years in "select" barrels. Maybe they used PvW 23 barrels or maybe Rebel Yell; not that it would taste much different. It was more of a dry stout and heavy on the oak barrel flavors. Quite nice and an excellent value at $20.

I owe quite a beer debt for some recent unexpected gifts I received. I hope to build my Central Waters Brewing inventory back up quickly, for additional transactions.

Noticed Peruvian Morning is hitting local shelves. Hadn't realized this hasn't been released by CW since 2018. Anyone try this year's iteration yet? Was a BA coffee stout mainstay back in the day (infection issues aside) but completely understand tastes change over time. Curious how it compares with Crushing Mass, for example. Certainly priced well at their Brewer's Reserve price point (~16).

Had one, coffee forward, barrel is present, don't want to hear it's thin, all CW 4 packs are thin mouth feel. Flavor is excellent. At $16 a 4 pack another great release from CW. Haven't had Crushing Mass since it's initial release, so can't compare. Will pick up another 4 pack or 2 of Peruvian Morning

Would it be better to say it's low-viscosity?
