What beer are you drinking now? #4084

Enjoying a beer for breakfast, will be embarking on a 2024 quest to go from 270 lbs to 225 so I’m going to cut back on the beer for a bit soon (definitely not stopping though).

Good day BAs! Thanks @dcotom for starting today's thread! Yesterday was beautiful - sunny and in the 50s compared to today's 47F/8C and cloudy. Still, there's hope for (relative) warmth.

Today's New Breakfast Beer:



I think the label art prompted me to buy this one, and It's actually good. Very coffee-forward on both nose and palate with well-hidden alcohol. Rating 3.95, rDev 0% (First rating/review)

 

A worthy weight loss goal, you will have to keep us updated as you see it…I applaud your efforts - Cheers!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a Merry Christmas. Our time spent with family yesterday was much needed by me… Today will be in the mid 50s with rain all day. My brother has the day off and we are going to go uptown to see a moving picture show, perhaps Wonka. Cheers and Happy Boxing Day!

 

I have simple goals for today. Hang out with the family, watch lots of soccer, putter around the house, and enjoy a couple beers. First up for me is what I think is my second to last bottle of 2016 Lagunitas High West-Ified. I've learned to not pour the last ounce, as plenty of sediment has accumulated over the past 7 years, but this beer still tastes great.

Having spent all Saturday binge watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I can’t help myself from thinking in terms of second breakfast (beers ) - FBS:



Bottled 11/17/23. Poured at 51° (from ‘fridge, sat on counter about 20 minutes). Roast coffee, chocolate, mild bitter linger.

Well, Wonka is my brother’s choice and I’m happy to go along. If we can’t get into the first matinee, we’ll grab some lunch at one of the nearby breweries. Cheers y’all!

 

Did a hike this morning and just got back from another one. Now time for a Polish IPA. Cheers
