    Arrogant Bastard.

It's got just about everything I like in a beer crammed into it. There are only a few beers I enjoy more but they're seasonal/limited releases or just don't make it over my way anymore.

If Sublimely Self Righteous was still available where I live that would probably be my go-to all year round.

I didn't have a go-to until I moved to a place with hot summers. 805 Cervesa (their take on a Mexican lager) quickly became that beer.

And though it's not technically a go-to due to its limited release, Sierra Nevada Celebration has to be considered, too. I buy as much as I can from November until I stop seeing it in stores. And with it in cans now, stays fresh well into the new year.

I don’t really have a go-to beer as one always sitting in my fridge but if I have one that’s often in it, La Goudale a French bière de garde.

More “special” easily available are Belgian tripels we find here. Or the Belgian strong pale ales.

Dale's Pale Ale. It covers so many bases for me, and I love everything about it.
If Bierstadt's hell/pils/dunkel were more readily available they would be, but those don't make it to my neighborhood stores.

I have none. I literally get/seek new 4 packs/6 packs/2xcrowlers wherever I go. Or I get mix-a-6s to retro check in if distributors/retailers fail me. If there was something of a brand that I would repeatedly get, it'd be something like the Hi-Wire 10W40 stout series... or the Alesmith Speedway Stout variants when I can get them.

Bells Two hearted. The Swiss Army knife of beers. Equally suitable to drink with a burger as it is to sip on the deck at the end of the day.

My go to always in the fridge every day beer would be
    Yuengling Black and Tan.
Good taste, easy drinking anytime and relatively inexpensive.
It's one beer I can't brew properly myself. Not worth the effort.
I always have some on hand.

Yup, buy it frequently - at least one can in the DBF currently. But (and I'll note that I have not kept up with homebrewing technology since I stopped in the 1980s) I suspect the cans also won't work with his capper, either.

So they say, so they say. My many sensitivities doesn't include one of those, tho'.

Ok. I’ll admit it. I like Blue Moon. There. I said it.

But is that beer always in your refrigerator or more like a "once in a Blue Moon" occurrence!?!:flushed:

    Cheers!

    SNPA for all purpose.

I always keep zombie dust handy but I can’t be spending 14 bucks every time I need a six pack of something. The taste is worth the price but I have to compromise so I don’t end up sleeping in the garage

    Bonus points

every day bourbon- old forester 86
Weekend bourbon- four roses single barrel
Special occasion bourbon- Blanton or old forester 1910. I know they aren’t wildly expensive (I got the Blantons for MSRP) but I’m not at the point where I’m going to be dropping hundreds of dollars on single bottles. Maybe after the kids are out of the house!

I have a few bottles of bourbon, but rarely pour myself one. My Four Roses single barrel is sitting unopened for a couple years now.

It is not getting any better sitting in the bottle. Might as well drink it now vs. later.

    Cheers!

Is a go-to beer something you pretty much always have on hand? Or is it any beer you like enough to buy fairly regularly?
I don't usually buy any one beer for week after week without switching things up. I love variety. I do have some top favorites in a given style, though.

Boulevard Tank 7 is my go-to Belgian style beer. It's absolutely delicious, on par with some of the actual Belgian ones, and it's an absolute steal of a bargain. It's like $13 for a 8.5% six pack, and I've never had a bad batch. It's a ridiculously good beer. I can't praise it highly enough.

IPAs and pilsners are my favorite styles but I've got too many favorites. I usually buy a different one every time. Stone, Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada, Modern Times, Bell's, New Belgium, some amazing local breweries, etc. I can't commit to any one brand or brew. I want to drink 'em all.
