Thanks @M-Fox24 for posting that Theakston's Old Peculier is headed back to the US, starting with the eastern seaboard. So if you've seen it or got it, let us know where and how much was on the shelf!
I just asked the beer guy at my local and he said he hadn't heard a release date and it wasn't available to order in their system. I would guess we'll see it first at speciality shops and large retailers like Total Wine, both of which likely have some sway with distributors. It isn't on Total Wine's website yet.
Bumping this thread because Old Peculiar is now available in the USA. People in New York have been posting about it. Anyone find it yet in MA?
Searching online, I discovered that Yankee Spirits has it in their system and available for purchase.
Great to hear that it's finally made it to MA via at least one store. I've been periodically checking the websites for Total Wine and Kappys as their online inventory tends to match fairly well to their actual in-store inventory. No luck on either yet.
I picked up two four packs at Yankee Attleboro. After drinking one of the aforementioned four packs, I can tell you that the beer matches up with my sense memory from years ago. And it was $10.99 a four pack, which seems like a bargain.
Giving this a bump to check if anyone else has spotted it around New England. Seems like a pretty weak roll-out thus far.
Seems like it is getting really limited distribution in New England as it appears to be only at Yankee Spirits. I'm a bit shocked that it hasn't hit Total Wine yet. I hope they are just easing into it, but at six months in already it isn't looking great for the wide distro I expected when they announced a return to the states.
