    Starting a thread for the sake of starting a thread is not cool. Start a thread if you are inspired to do so. Launching a bunch of threads without thought or research (i.e., has something similar been discussed in the recent past?) is not useful. It’s easy to do a search and figure out if your thread idea is unique.

    @Todd nailed it a number of years ago already.

    “You can never spend too much time on BA.”

    By that he meant posting, reviewing, trading and make 2000 characters posts about how Pumpkin beers are trash or the meaning of the term craft beer.

    As others have said, if you're posting without substance, absolutely, yes. If you've got worthwhile things to say, by all means... Many of us come here seeking the beer-themed community and thats pretty hard to have without folks posting a lot. However, if you're just trying to hit those post and threads started karma levels a bit sooner...:rolling_eyes:

    If that's the desire, then here's my advice: If you've been here for almost a decade but suddenly post 14 new threads in less than a week, I can easily imagine a burnout of your involvement in the near future. You can try to pace yourself - and that's more for your sake than ours. Having said that, an active forum is WAY better than a dead one... and heavy posting is a positive for everyone in that regard.
