Rauchtänzer, their collab with Die With Your Boots On, is coming out Feb. 9. It was a 4.0% cherrywood smoked schwarzbier last year.

Chris said they brewed Loggerhead the other day.

Continental Blockade, their Polish Porter, came out mid-January last year. Not sure if they did it again this year.

Looks like Continental Blockade is back in cans and draft at both tap rooms on Saturday, Jan 20.

Different name though, now it's POLSKI BALTIC PORTER.

Did a blind side by side of Černé Pivo and Černé Spezial. Both canned the same date if I recall (12/14), which would make them both 18 days old and super fresh.

Was able to immediately pick the two out. Spezial is fuller and sweeter which is what you would expect. Pivo is drier and less sweet, it’s the more drinkable of the two for sure. Both delicious in their own right.

Mixed the two at the end and didn’t prefer it. It produced an odd sour note I didn’t detect in the beers on their own.

The look is interesting due to the difference in head color.

Just saw Black Lodge on the draft list! Gonna go down there tomorrow and get a crowler of that for the snowstorm.

Might be a retooled version of Biersal now that I think of it? I haven't had it in awhile.

There a date on that Černé can? I think Černé was canned back in November. Before Thanksgiving. Still haven't seen ANY cans at retail spots around the North Shore - so weird. Must have sent them elsewhere.

14th Anniversary will seemingly emphasis “melanoidin creation” per open fermentation, natural carbonation, horizontal conditioning…aside the "decoction mash boiling length"

This will be brewed the same way, by three different – revered/brilliant – brewers…

@AlcahueteJ - (to an earlier post) Dan has been playing around with this, for awhile: he’s constantly analyzing the conditioning process (e.g. timing, season, equipment). Albeit, there are several factors at play, as the approach is situational & Chris’ message seems to play off that per
...would like to see July, Anna, and Chris push 5-months, which could be the case here (i.e. 14th Anniversary)

Baltic Porter is a damn good beer for a day like this at 7.2%.
