Y’all know the drill by now.

Spots slated to open that I’m aware of:

    1) Port Schuyler in Watervliet (was on here last year, no recent updates)

    2) Soulcraft Farm Brewing in Cambridge NY. (was on here last year, no recent updates)

    3) Brewery Novalis in Syracuse. (was on here last year, no recent updates)

    4) Frequentum’s second location in Buffalo. (was on here last year, progress pics looking terrific)

    5) Bandstand Brew Works (Under construction, possibly open by next year)

    6) 6 Acres Farm Brewing (taproom build pics look great, would imagine an opening by summer)

    7) Broke Goat Brewing (in progress in Binghamton area)

    8) Deep Fried Beers (just super soft opened last week in Athens, checked it out and they had four of their own beers/one-offs by the brewer on, all 8.2% or above, but as @ColdOne mentioned they'll be branching into other styles)

    9) K2 Brewing in Rochester opening their taproom/complex inside an old elementary school soon. Saw a few pics of the taproom, you will be legit drinking in an elementary school cafeteria which is rad as fuck.

More when I’ve got it as always.

In central Jersey, I know of at least three that opened in December:
    1) The Druery in Lawrenceville
    2) Tall Oaks in in Farmingdale
    3) Bakes Brewing in Belmar

Yes, meant that. Also, I think Armed Forces may be having a soft opening same date as well (old O Connor loc'n)

A new Riverhead Long Island, NY, brewery, "Riverhead Brew House", is coming to the space first used by the short-lived "Peconic County Brewing Co." That operation really didn't ever take off.

Renovations are underway. They plan a full restaurant menu. The owners expect to supply the beer from this location to other restaurants they control. While the new name is sort of ho-hum, it's certainly better than Peconic County.

    - Mortalis Buffalo open for business.

    - This is a cool one: Grow Brewing, which has been kind of operating out of War Horse in Geneva will be looking to open its first taproom in New Hartford (right outside of Utica).

Not a brewery opening but adjacent enough: Young Lion selling their recipes to K2 out of Rochester so we're still gonna see YL cans at Wegmans and bottle shops, just won't have a physical home. Not sure if that's (not having a taproom) the permanent plan or what.

2 new places in Brooklyn: niteglow and sound+fury. Both seem like a small brew setup.

Niteglow going with beer naming that reminds me of Ebbs. Letter and number coding. H01 (hoppy), C01 (crisp), etc. 12oz packaging. They seem to be going for lighter, drinkable beers. Pouring everything on lukr taps.

Sound + Fury is restaurant based. Has a diverse draft list. At-a-glance the beers seem average.

Sound + Fury looks to be in the same space that was Circa. Not sure if it’s the same folks involved.

And Niteglow is where Non-Sequitur was, ditto on not knowing who's involved.

    Few notes:

    1) Got it on good authority that Common Roots South (IDK if that's what they're calling it but I am) is opening soon. Having that place a quick walk away from Fidens is gonna occupy a lot of my time this summer.

    2) Something called Schwalbacher Brewing in the works in the Amsterdam area. No social media presence or news articles so probably a ways off there.

    3) Place called The Branch Brewing opened late November in North Shore LI, just closed for like a month to upgrade the brewhouse and is slated to re-open next month.

C.H. Evans Brewing Company at the Albany Pump Station. The current hours are Tues - Sat 11am - 10pm.

Return Brewing in Hudson opened up their indoor taproom and it has a mini basketball hoop in there so it looks like work trips to Hudson just got more frequent.
