Opened in November of 2023, Round Table took over the Civil War-era industrial space vacated by Industrial Arts in Garnerville NY. Co-Owner and Brewer Ricardo Petroni was a co-founder of Equilibrium Brewing in Middletown NY. He is joined by Co-owner and brewer Javier Laurini. As of early 2023, there are already a number of proprietary options on tap and 3 canned options for to-go.

I didn't realize Ricardo was involved in this. Have you tried the beers?

My reviews of them have been all positive, although I have come to discover that Brett isn't a style that I enjoy compared to the other offerings. They could use a few more lighter options but those will hopefully come in good time. My favorite would have to be the Dr. Jay DIPA.

I really liked the Alto Lindo and thought Motto Motto was solid.
I was not a big fan of Dr. Jay.

Stopped in here on Saturday and was VERY fucking impressed. Alto Lindo is a truly stellar beer, the small pours I had of a couple IPAs were great, the food was very solid and I really love what they did with the taproom. This will for sure be a spot I go back to any time I'm in the area.

The Mangia Frutta beers are now available in bombers to go. I was not impressed by the Passion Fruit version, but the Rapsberry one is amazing. There is also an apricot and peach version that I have not tried yet.

They have been teasing a Flemish ale on each of my past visits but apparently it is still foedering. That should be "Rood" which is already listed on their website.

They aged Alto Lindo in bourbon barrels. Its currently available on tap at the brewery. It blew my mind. The tartness was rounded down just right and the barrels imparted wonderful flavor into the base beer.
Rood is also available this weekend.

There is a limited batch of Dark Cherry Mangia Frutta and a new IPA available in cans, at a much more approachable 5.9% ABV.

Two Barrel Aged Coffee Stouts are available at the brewery in very limited quantity. On tap and in 500ml. Natural Necessities "The Natural" and "Cup of Excellence" Both 8.5% ABV.

I will also add that the Dark Necessities Imperial Stout bottles are also 500ml, not 750ml bombers.

The taproom is now open Wednesdays. Newest beer is Kroak, a bourbon barrel aged Dark Cherry ale. Grapevine chatter says some collaborations are in the works, and another can option for to-go. They also just brewed a fresh batch of Dr. Jay.

O Jeito (bourbon barrel aged Alto Lindo) is also now available to go. Probably my favorite thing they've brewed since opening.

First collaboration should be out soon. RTB + Gentle Giant, a German Pilsner. A much needed option for RTB's taproom - they've been hanging on to Metric kegs from Industrial Arts to stopgap the need for a refreshing lager of their own.

Been sitting on this info for awhile, RTB is collaborating with Stony Point Brewing down the road for a Black IPA. One of SPBC's first beers was an excellent Black IPA, RTB makes good IPAs and both breweries make great dark beers. My expectations are high. Good timing with the cooler fall weather moving in.

That's awesome. I really enjoyed that black IPA from STPC.

The Black IPA has arrived, and it is amazing. "Dark Rails" 6.8% ABV. The result of a collaboration between 3 great minds, Ricardo and Javier (RTB) and David (SPBC) and their teams. Cans are available at both taprooms, which are both within walking distance.

Also, it looks like a Brooklyn taproom is in the works for RTB. Not too many details about that just yet.

RTB also brewed a Marzen which is available on tap and in cans. "Das Boot" (cliche lol) 5.9%

More of RTB's specialty this week:

    Mangia Frutta Blueberry
    Mangia Frutta Plumb
    BiFrost "Simple" Sour
Open 360, previously on tap only, now available in cans.

RTB is transitioning to 16oz cans, previously they did the 12oz skinnies.

So far i've seen the Pilsner and Fake Recipe IPA in the wild. Also the Black IPA. If you see a 16ozer, you know its fresher.

With the exception of the canned sours they are staying in the 12 oz format.
