Not going to lie, their recent food has gotten better. Who from HA here is finally listening to me? Just bring back that good burger and I'll be returning often this winter.

 

What about the chimichurri potatoes? Please?

 

This is the year I finally get some cans of Catch Hell. I can feel it

Sad, because some were excellent

 

If the pattern remains the same, it might be a Double Barrel Catch Hell year, no? Should find out in a few weeks anyway.

 

They just released the latest batch in September '23. So perhaps triple barrel is in the works for some time this year.

 

Good spot. I forgot about that. They had done the Catch Hell, 2x and 3x with the Feb-ish releases prior to that I think, hence my likely inaccurate thought.

 

Twin Chariot lasted about 10 mins.

Description just didn’t do it for me on this one, so may try on tap if they have it on. Interested to see reviews.

 

The new menu at Half Acre is improved. I had the pork shank and it was FANTASTIC. The lumpia is full-time now & there's other fun Filipino dishes on. I look forward to stopping by more often!

Snow Melt is quintessential Half Acre IPA.
Lager yeast, but I doubt anyone would notice or care.

 

Given the current winter storm warnings you can be forgiven for projecting our feelings onto the beer name as no one wants a Slow Melt.

 

I would agree. I just put down two quite easily. That Twin Chariot is very unique and pretty damn tasty too. It appears I like peach brandy barrels.
