Contemplating beers to start the day. I considered a cellar pour, but decided to wait for @Todd 's likely rollout of Cellaruary in a few weeks.

In that spirit, I opened my final Oktoberfest of the season.

    Good morning Advocates,
Lately I've been writing a little less due to life commitments, but when I manage to do so I try to take up as much space as possible with my notes.
So... one of the first days of 2024 while I was returning from a work commitment (zero holidays except for holy days, gentlemen), on the road I noticed a sign pointing me to this young brewery 3 km away from where I was.
Having already taken care of my business, it didn't seem ethical to return to the office without a break.
    And then here...
I enter this small place alone and as soon as I walk through the door I am immediately enveloped by that unmistakable smell of cooking. They were making beer.
A boy comes to welcome me and shows me around the Mastrobirraio to say hello while I was looking out to see what he was doing.
It was a face I had already seen.
I was thinking about the last EurHop Festival, but no. He had worked as an assistant for a few years at Eternal City Brewing, another brewery in my area.
They ask me what I wanted to taste.
I answer "the one you are most satisfied with or find best".
They opened two fruit "sours" for me (Berliner Weisse and Catharina Sour), I politely highlighted how, for my tastes, a more lively carbonation would certainly have benefited those products.
I was told that it was a factor that depended on the machinery, as when putting the beer in cans (they only make cans) it foams too much due to the carbonation they give it and that to have a product equal to the one in the keg you need suitable machinery and very expensive.
Instead, among those I tasted at home, the Pacific Pale Ale (DIRTY HARRY) and the Imperial Stout with Tonka beans and cinnamon (PAPERCUT), are the ones I liked the most. But the most particular one, which I will review first, is this very pleasant Blanche flavored not only with coriander, but also with pink pepper, lemon and orange peel. It impressed me positively.

    Given this premise:

Radiocraft Brewery (Albano Laziale, ITA) - AMELIE - Blanche with coriander, pink pepper, lemon and orange peel (5%).

When poured, releases the scent of coriander intersected with lemon.
It produces little foam and has a poor consistency.
    Veiled straw yellow colour.
    Very fragrant.
In the mouth, beer flows on a very light body aided by wheat and oats which also give it a light silkiness.
The taste is very well balanced with coriander being the first scent to be felt, followed by an almost "Asian" spiciness of pink pepper, before a dry, clean, not bitter but aromatic citrus finish.
Tasting it you can clearly also taste a little lemon juice which combines very well with the spicy hints of pink pepper, with the coriander in the background.
Beer that is drunk with extreme simplicity, but which truly leaves a pleasant, as well as dissenting, taste with every sip: great balance between all tastes. Too bad the usual element of poor carbonation.
It's not my favorite style, but overall I appreciate a product like this and I think it's one of the most distinctive offerings of this tiny brewing reality.

Good day BAs! Thanks @ChicagoJ for rolling out today's thread. And @Jack_14, thanks for yet another enjoyable review! I love how you find, visit, and review the tiny breweries hidden in off the beaten path Italy!

For me, today's New Breakfast Beer is another from bulging box #2 sent by @muchloveforhops3 in BS BIF#1:

It's 35 degrees with winds of 20 mph. Certainly not a day for the golf course.

Hello friends! Thanks @ChicagoJ for 4097. I got the big eye at 4am so I'm damn ready for John Barleycorn...and then some. Staring kinda big w Trappistes Rochefort 10. Incredible. Last time I had this I was living in Boston or Somerville. Wow. Just rcv'd an inch of light, cottony, fluffy snow. Very cool. I drove thru big spots of road salt Thursday eve. They'll be salting all week and I just smile that both my SUVs are rust buckets. Ha! Salute!!

    Hey BA!

Today is a sad day because our legendary "Kaiser" Franz Beckenbauer died.

Agree! Being a non-"football" gringo I did a bit of quick research...."Franz Anton Beckenbauer was a German professional football player and manager. Nicknamed "Der Kaiser", Beckenbauer was a versatile player who started out as a midfielder, but made his name as a central defender. He is often credited as having invented the role of the modern sweeper." RIP "Kaiser"......
