    I need to get back to Nebraska soon for some Kros-Strain and others. I'm next door (other side from you, LesDewitt) in Colorado. Going back to an old classic that I haven't had in years, Avery's Mephistopheles. Delicious...and a sloooow sipper.

    Ha! Well, I did hammer the drums for 3.5 hrs...and after a light snack and that bad ass chili beer I believe a delicious Jester King Noble Queen is again in order. Thank you @StoneTSR for asking! This is a really nice farmhouse Ale for sure. Hittin' the spot. and I just ran 6 large deer outa my back garden...munching everything. Cheers!

    Hello, BA! Thanks @LesDewitt4beer for kicking things off!

    1100 km (~650 miles) later, we finally arrive at my favourite place, Malua Bay, on the New South Wales south coast. A week or so lazing on the beach, weather pending, and plenty of good brews to come.

    The first beer is Hop Hog, one of the original Aussie-brewed American IPAs. It was way ahead of its time when it was first brewed and still stands up well, although this one seemed sweeter than I recall from previous tastings. The picture is on the father-in-law's top deck, which overlooks McKenzie's Beach under the cliffs below.

    The second beer is Kronenburg 1664, a six-pack of which will be my easy afternoon sipper for the week. That beer was drunk on the beach itself.

    Just doing chores getting ready to fly for the first time as a beer mule. I hate checking bags, but have too much stuff for the nephews so beer is coming via an audit case which hopefully holds up.

    Good day BAs! Off to a cloudy/spitting snow 33F/0C morning. Yesterday's warm rains and sporatic winds took down several trees and caused power failures throughout the area, so Mrs. Lizard decided to delay her shopping trip. Today's New Breakfast beer:

    The last of the fantastic Bombastic brews @muchloveforhops3 sent in BSBIF#1. (Looks like tomorrow I'll be forced to drink a brew from Fremont.) I was extremely pleased with the Bombastic brews over the last few days and now I've got to plan a trip to Idaho!

    Final impression and summation: 4.25 Very enjoyable impy stout – not award-winning but a solid, tasty example of the style which I’m enjoying. Thanks Doug!

    The only Finnish words I know are inappropriate so I'll stick to English. Happy Birthday @Todd.

    Had a major power outage yesterday so I simply sipped on a beat-up can of Heady Topper (it was clearly dropped from some height) in the pitch black. I'm craving one right now despite being early morning.
