I agree,felt that way about who are you and a few others from that time period. Could actually listen to the whole album,even the stuff that wasn't great was still very good

 

Well, I guess I'm going down the track to listen to all of Nick Drake's proper albums tonight. His incredible Bryter Layter album. With Sierra Nevada Pale Ale in the glass.



Norther Sky is probably the greatest example of a "pop" song ever recorded. With no other than John Cale helping out with a few interments.

A little story about me and this beer. I can’t purchase in NH, but when I do my Thursday rounds I am in Mass. I had gotten a rare scratcher these days and popped a $100. Had cash while in Mass and stumbled into this classic.

This beer is in the glass that @jzeilinger my oldest BA friend and long time trade partner sent. Before changing my job he would send me a 6 pack with some other local gems. I have been off trading since we bought our house at a terrible time, but one day I will blow up your porch again Jeff. You sir are a true BA and in my opinion a legend. Any BA that has ever ripped open a few cans or popped a few tops with JZ knows his love of beer and you will get plenty of laughs. Cheers brotha!

 

French Press, an imperial coffee porter at 9.4 abv from Saint Arnold Brewing. Coffee and chocolate smoothness throughout!

Having another one of these. Glad I bought a six pack.

 

The pork was easy - I used 4 country style ribs - browned them in a skillet first to get a bit of color and flavor (maillard reaction)

I was too lazy to make my own BBQ sauce so I used Sweet Baby Rays No Sugar added:

Pour a bit of the BBQ sauce in the bottom of a slow cooker. I added 3 Fresno chilies sliced - if you do that, add them in now.

Put the browned pork ribs in the slow cooker, and add 1 cup chicken stock. Add some more BBQ sauce to coat the ribs. Cook on low for 10 hours. Cheers!!

Today I actually saw that one in my local shop. I don’t recall seeing Veil before. Passed as there were too any stouts for me to buy an unknown six pack. If there next visit, I may try it since you like it so much. Cheers.

 

I can attest that the dude can drink. Met up with him years ago in Pennsylvania and held my own for a while.

I do not think Veil distributes much. Hell, the only way I can get Veil beer is to go to the brewery! Not in stores although I have seen that Capital Alehouse sometimes has it on draft.

 

Take the car keys from Teddy. I do not think he should drive after imbibing that much. You too dude.

 

Moules-Frites yum. Love that.
