@Peach63 @Ozzylizard Old Overholt is my jam. Nothing like a screwtop bottle but Old Grandad is also great. Need to grab Old Grandad 114 as it was recommended by a "bourbon aficionado " .

    Here we go @TheIPAHunter :

Old grandad is responsible for many of the old crews stories (and alleged convictions) Love it.

    Cheers!

Still on the clock actually, but I decided I earned an early beer today. We got about 5 inches of snow here so I've been staying on top of it with the Bully push shovel so I didn't have to break out the snow blower.

Best push shovel ever .. worth every cent.I have the 24" and the 30" but mostly use the 30" version.

It's supposed to change to rain which it has indeed done. That's when it gets wet and heavy and becomes a PITA to clean up. I'm all set now after going out and clearing up the mess that the town plow left at the end of my driveway before it gets waterlogged and freezes. So yes, having and enjoying a beer :sunglasses:

Tallied my beer count, and it’s at 340 oz through the first five days here. Starting early again today with an aptly named new to me beer from Khoury’s.

    Pure Project Day Moves:

    Can Notes:
Single can purchased refrigerated at Khoury’s on 1/14/24 for $6.49. 16 oz canned 12/5/23, 6.7% ABV, West Coast India Pale Ale. Hand brewed & canned in San Diego, California by Pure Project. Refrigerated after purchase until opening.

Appearance: A few pours yielded most of the cab into a 16 oz shaker pint glass. Creamy rich generous bright white head lingers for a hot minute before congregating mostly around the slides with a slight dusting over the crystal clear straw yellow base. Mild carbonation trickles after a few minutes. 3.75

    Aroma:
Nice dank pine lead, grapefruit backs. Traditional old school, medium plus strength. 4.25

    Taste:
Oh yeah! (Cues Kool-Aid Guy). Strong WCIPA flavors bursting with pine and grapefruit grappling for supremacy with older brother pine winning out. Very dank, getting some floral notes, lemongrass and citrus. Getting a little bit of crying hop notes and after looking this up sure enough it is there, but not mucking up the blend like most prior experiences with it. 4.5

    Mouthfeel:
Creamy full body for this style, carbonation very light and gentle. Mildly bitter and dry, more dank, drinks stronger than the ABV. Dry pine with a splash of grapefruit lingers wonderfully on the finish. 4.5

    Overall:
Excellent blend, the only thing slowing me down from gulping this all down is finishing this review. Regretting buying only a single to not have too much beer on hand (as if). Highly recommend for those seeking OG vibes. 4.50

Very late breakfast for me (hell, noon is a late lunch for me!), but it was a snow day, so I'm extending my vacation one more day - and slept in accordingly.

But breakfast for lunch means a breakfast beer, right?

That glass is empty and rinsed now, so it's about time for another pour ... of something ...

    Cheers!

3 Floyds Return of the Ancients Irish Red. More like a Red IPA, which is have zero complaints about. Citrusy, herbal, piney, and woody with a toasty and slight caramel malt backbone. I dig it.
