What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4109

Nice glass. Good looking beer. The only downside to the photo is all that menacing white stuff on the ground!

Quiet morning at the virtual bar. I’ll have a breakfast beer before going crazy with chores and errands. Happy Saturday, advocates. Stay warm!

I enjoy getting into an album for the first time thirty years after it was released.

 

I thought I would try dry January last year. Even bought a case of NA beer. Sadly, I lasted just two days. I thought I would try again this January. Failed again. I am sure docs would say I have a problem.

That said, dry January may be a good thing for younger folks with years of better health to gain from it but at my age (72 next week) I do not have that many Januarys left so I might as well enjoy them while I got them. I did, however, significantly cut back on my bourbon and wine consumption.

Sorry for the long tirade. Need to make a beer run today.

 

Did a mtb ride on the frozen Belgian toendra. Now warming up with a nice quad. Cheers

 

Texas Beer Co. (Taylor, TX) Pecos Amber with a wonderful breakfast of cornmeal pancakes smothered with pulled pork and topped with over easy eggs. The beer was an excellent, malty accompaniment!

 

Love that beer.

Another very crisp cold start to the day in Casper. Speaking of crisp, this Belgian Blonde is crisp and dry and fruity and bitter and more sips are needed before I review it.

I got a little frostbite taking this snowy pictures, so I don't blame folks at all


Got to see my basketball team beat their in-state rivals on Wednesday after visiting Three Notch'd in Charlottesville. Might be a good thing today's game is during the NFL games, since it's on the road and UVa is soooooo much worse on the road (saw some next gen stat that put us in the stratosphere in the ineptitude gap road versus home). As such, no idea why we are a one point favorite against GaTech today (over looks a little high to me as well, were I still a betting man).

 

yeah it was cold (26.6 F) and windy aswell... First 10min I regreted my decision to go for a ride. But after that I got "warm" and the sun came through. This is a trek fuel ex 8(2018). Been a while I enjoyed myself on the MTB since I bought a gravelbike. But the mtb was definatly the right decision for riding in the snow. Really enjoyed this ride!
