But will Cold Time be at most stores when I go to pick up my VSOR tomorrow? The people want to know.

I can’t speak for every location cause there are so many, but tons have brought it in. Evergreen Park had it next to the VSOR Select.

@BeerCruncher unrelated and I also mentioned this on IG, but I appreciate you doing hop water reviews, especially as to how they compare to Super Zero. Very helpful info in a season that's otherwise filled with heavy BA stuff!

Curious as to whether hop water should be sold at grocery stores by the NA beer stuff or by the sparkling water products? Would more consumers be apt to try it if it was by the sparkling water at grocery stores vs being branded by grocery stores as more of an NA IPA water? My local grocery store from a major chain flags hop water and cards people for purchasing it because it is located in the beer aisle. This reduces my hop water purchases as I don’t want to have to wait for someone to come over and check an ID at self check out for a hop water that contained no alcohol and thus has no business being carded.

Yeah, I've wondered about this myself. Do you get more or less sales by keeping hop water with beer? Would people into seltzer water be more likely to try it if it were in the same aisle as Doug's beloved Spindrift? I'm with you that it's annoying to get carded for grabbing sparkling water (happened to me at Trader Joe's), and would probably cut down on the times I'd purchase.

Glad I'm not the only one getting carded for it. BTW, doesn't that point to a larger problem if brewers or more likely their distributors aren't educating grocery stores enough that these (1) aren't alcoholic and (2) should be marketed to a wider audience than just beer drinkers. I'd think the ideal would be for a consumer to walk in and grab a 16 oz can of more natural hop water from 7-11 versus a gatorade or some other high sugar/artificial ingredient laden beverage.

This is interesting and something I've never considered. I really liked Hop Water when I had it at FOBAB but have never bought it at the store. That said, I do like Liquid Death's sparkling water, and I think I'd definitely by Hop Water a lot more if I saw it next to Liquid Death at the store.

But, I never go to the beer section and then think, oh hey, I'd love some hop water right now.

I’m in. Got a 4 pack of VSOR and the Maple Jacket. Figured, might as well right?

If you go in the seltzer aisle you have have to pay for your sets and shelf space, which IIRC is not legal with alcohol. So small breweries would be coming in at a disadvantage vs the major beverage companies.

Rioters Reserve is sweet AF. Its well done, just not for me.

Not sure what I was expecting at 19% though.

kinda bummed that all the variants are MASSIVE beers. Everything on draft is above 16%.

Kind of have to expect that, honestly - VSOR Select is a hair below 16% and On & On is just a touch above. The last deliberate attempt at a lower ABV option wasn't particularly well received, from what I recall.
