    look: 4.25 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 5 | overall: 4.25

    Pours a clear, pale yellow color; fine carbonation bubbles, small, dense and lively; fairly thick head, white and semi-creamy with thin, lasting rings of foam encircling the glass. Outstanding aroma of melon with floral overtones; delicate notes of light malt grains. The flavors are nuanced and balanced; faint biscuit flavor carrying a mild hop bitterness, slightly herbal. Medium body with a soft, velvety density.

    This is a triple dry-hopped version of Pliny the Elder, and the brewery kicked some dorsal posterior with this edition. The mouthfeel for an India pale ale (I'm sure PtE is the base beer, so actually a double IPA) is simply phenomenal. Soft and creamy on the palate and making a fine delivery vehicle (if you will) for the base beer and hops. Simply fantastic!

    Hello BAs. Thanx @Shanex for 4115. Another unseasonably mild day here in the Twinkie Towns. On & off mist with dense fog in some areas and another couple of weeks of it. Very peculiar. Yesterday was fun and I felt the 4 cans of DIPA this morning. Ufdah. And thanks going out to @LarryV and @vabeerguy and @mickyge for congrats re my 3 yrs anniv. :beers::beers: Also thanks @TCgenny for recognizing BrassZilla. The CD with the lizard eye is before I joined the group. so, not me on drums. The 2nd CD with the dinosaur artwork is me on drums and is a way better recording overall. We might record more tunes this year.
    Now, its beer time! and a new beer to boot. From lovely Belgium: Kerel Saison. Lots of sexual innuendos on the label with text all crossed out/line thru. Pretty funny and pretty good beer actually. Gorgeous hop notes. I didn't know diddly squat about Saisons until I joined BA. Still learning! Cheers!

    Yesterday I got a post op full release from my hip surgery. Next checkup is 5 years. Hope I'm around to remember it. Today was my last day of physical therapy. To celebrate I came home and got in a good chest and back workout in my home gym. Now it's lunch and beer.

    Early out from work. A refreshing Hamm's to get started. It just occured to me these glasses are over 30 years old. Three of four survived all these years (really amazing they survived my college years at all). Hamm's looks pretty good in them! It won't last long though. Cheers to the weekend!
