What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4117

It's still Saturday for me and I'm having an Aloha Beer from the Aloha State.

 

First beer of the week. Unbelievable 8). Did a walk this chilly sunny morning and now time for a beer. Might clean my mtb and gravelbike if not too lazy 8) .

 

Some of my favorite local juice to kick off this Sunday. Cheers all.

Time for a Sunday morning breakfast and beer!


I was going to take the dogs for a walk when I finished, but now it's raining. Well, got plenty of walking in yesterday at Epcot.

Thanks for the well wishes yesterday!
Hopefully I'll find out more info tomorrow, but it is the big C according to the GI doctor. Just one more set back/shitty (pun intended) problem to overcome.

Good day BAs! Thanks @LesDewitt4beer for starting today's thread! @beerjerk666 - always get a second opinion on any cancer diagnosis - the pathways are SO complicated and are always being further explored - get that second opinion at a BIG cancer center!

Another warm morning - 38F/3C and raining as I await the start of "Noir Alley", my Sunday escape from my mundane life and entrance into a past "reality". Today's New Breakfast Beer, however, brings a painful reality with it - the common failure to live up to expectations.



Final impression and summation: 3.5 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated personal container) I enjoy Thai food, unfortunately this didn’t remind me of it. To my senses, this is more of a spiced ale, with kind of a winter warmer vibe, minus the cinnamon. A rare misalignment for the Frog and me!

Good morning/day BAs! This morning’s coffee - “Maple Bourbon Barrel Paradise” (2023) with Coconut and Vanilla, from Prairie Artisan Ales:



Bottled 11/1/23. Poured at 54°. First impression: Sweet maple sugar candy! Working on notes for NBW.

Gloomy, cool (66°) and breezy now. The temperature is forecast to drop through the day with gusty winds bringing a “cold” front. I’ll probably stay in and enjoy a beer or two…Cheers and have a salubrious Sunday y’all!

Great beer and killer tune! The Surfers earlier stuff is beyond...everything. Tripping balls and listening to Rembrandt Pussyhorse/Cream Corn From The Socket Of Davis was insane!

 

I saw them at my alma mater in a small room that was in a cafeteria. It soon became clear that the film projected above the band was a sex change operation. I forget the album they were promoting, but they kept pulling Iommi”s War Pigs riff into song changes. What a great show. We drive to Toronto to see then play two days later.
