World's smallest bug

You'll notice there's no quantity of beers reviewed.

 

I clicked on the 'Worst' tab for myself and it shows as " You've reviewed 0 beers on this list." I think OP has a legit bug. And I now need to review some 'Worst' beers. Been slacking it appears.

 

Does that not just indicate that if a red check mark appears next to the name of a beer, you’ve reviewed it?

 

I don’t know that there’s anything to fix. Do you see a red check mark next to any beers listed? If not, then I don’t think it’s saying you have reviewed any of them, which would be consistent with what you are saying.

I agree it's not a bug.
An enhancement would help to lessen confusion by someone who hasn't rated any beers and is looking for the beers that they think the site has attributed to them as having rated.

Maybe it isn't coded to fetch a null or zero value. I don't even know if that's proper geek-speak.

 

Right, it would be more clear to have it say “You’ve reviewed 0 beers on this list”—but if you read that text more as a key or legend (whatever the correct term is) than as a statement of fact then I think it’s clear enough as it is.

Agree to disagree. Without the red check mark next to that sentence it would be a bug. With the red check mark it’s a matter of interpretation. I’m sure @Todd would be thrilled to sort this out.

Just review a beer on the list and the problem magically goes away, unless you’re also troubled by the phrasing “1 beers” (I don’t know if it automatically corrects for singular vs. plural).

 

FWIW I see a "0" when I look at lists where I haven't reviewed anything (on chrome). So I think that the absence of a "0" in OP's case qualifies as a bug, right?
On the plus side, now I know I need to go find a delicious Happoshu.

“If you see a ✔next to a beer listing below then you’ve reviewed that beer. The total number of beers on this list that you have reviewed is <value>. Is this clear enough for you? Good, now please go enjoy a beer.”

Someone who has not reviewed any beers please test these pages on all available browsers so we can get to the bottom of this. I won’t be able to sleep knowing this is happening. Cheers.
