That’s been the trend. They did the same last year. 8th anniversary they were named after the style. Maybe too many beers to name and design labels for

I was hoping we'd get a collaborative lager (I enjoyed the dark lager they did last year) and stout like last year, but this week it's a fruited sour and you guessed it, more IPAs.

this works like a charm. I’m personally looking forward to #6 the single ipa collab with Lawsons and Firestone. I know they excel at doubles, but OH has been doing nice work in the IPA and pale ale range for my preferences recently. I try to limit 25% of my fridge to imperials 8% and above. The doubles are usually something I’d like one can of.

Not much commentary on the releases over the last couple of weeks. Is everyone doing dry January or something?!? Anyone tried any of these collabs yet? I need to know whether or not to spend another $100 on beer!

I decided to skip them and just try them at the anniversary event. Might get a couple of this week's releases - #9, #10, and maybe #6.

My fridge is very full and my wallet is screaming at me to slow down with the buying of more beer. I did pick up a 4 pack of the WCIPA collab (2?). It's very citrus forward, clean, and pretty sweet. It's solid if you're into how OH does WC IPAs.

We're doing a half-dry January (do not ask me what this means), and Other Half is producing too much beer for this 10th Anniversary to keep up. I'll just wait to buy a 4 pack of 10th Anni and probably whatever other special release comes with it, and then hopefully try a bunch of stuff on tap at the party on Saturday

i have also been doing a half-dry january. some call it damp january. others call it moist january. i've just been saving my alcoholic intake to weekends only.

the mouthful of diamonds colab was stupendous. what i've also come to realize over the last few months is that I love nectaron and will most likely purchase anything with that as the main hop from here on out.

also... question for anyone who's been up to hill farmstead recently. what's it like there in terms of picking up 4 packs? I'm finally getting up north for a snowboarding trip and will be making a pit stop there. any tips?

HF: you can pretty much order as much beer as you want except for the few beers they might have on limited release. You can place your order on their toast site the morning of your trip, or place it when you are there. The bottle shop is different part of the building from the tap room. They’re only 20 paces or so away from one another.

As a single ipa fan, 3 and 6 were really solid. Didn’t try any others, but those 2 were awesome. OH seems to be really dialed in right now. They are killing it. Even some of the “standard”, “old-standby” beers from them have been really popping.

    I liked 6 a lot. I did not like #9.

If anyone has a ticket for the 10th Anny party they are not going to use, let me know.

Shotzy covered what you want to know about cans, but if you have time Hill's on-site experience is probably one of the best beer experiences in the world. If you have the time for it, do yourself a favor and grab a pour or growler of Memoria and/or Poetica if you can. These lagers are no exaggeration in a class of their own.

Regarding #9, do you generally like Galaxy? I know it can be hit or miss.

Yes, I’m a galaxy fan. I was with a group and most of us didn’t really like #9. It wasn’t terrible, but we noticeably liked it less than the other new collab releases

Was a little let down by #9 as well. The Green Cheek one (#8 I think) was probably the best of the series

FWIW, I’m drinking Made of Dream, the imperial oat cream Foam supposed-collaboration, and it is vile.

    I needed to tell someone.

Foam started distributing down here during COVID. I had fond memories of visiting them in 2016, but holy hell those beers were baaaaad.
