Stopped with that one. This is the premium one. Vizir. Seems a Slovenian American style IPA
You can tell by the foam and the 6% abv, this one will be better

But at the end all is still about taste.
More body, more creamy mouthfeel, taste, I am not quite sure yet, but surely better than the previous one.
Have to decide if I will buy again. But this is not a regular Neipa nor a crisp IPA, this is something else. For sure it is not bad and better than the Steam IPA.

Clear, golden yellow body; dense carbonation; thick, frothy and sudsy head, white and long-lasting. Nice restrained aroma of light malt grains and slightly floral and spicy hop smells. Fantastic taste; light biscuit and cracker malt notes; a little spicy, grass-like notes; light white pepper. Light body; crisp; somewhat dry.

This is a great example of a simple beer done right. Clean, crisp, refreshing and relatively complex for the style.

...big day in the kitchen...pork country ribs with home made diced tomatoes plus a few roasted chili peppers (various types) plus tomatillos, Roma tomatoes, and red onion...just pulled smoked salmon (alder wood) off the smoke and have beer brats going (cherry wood) to be followed with bone-in rib eyes (hickory)...have some beef to cut and marinate for jerky tomorrow and a Village Pie Maker apple pie to bake later this afternoon...

    1) Phase Three P3 Czech Dark (5.3%):
A Czech Dark Lager from Minnesota with flavors of rich cocoa, coffee roast, mild bitterness. Slightly sweet.
    versus
    2) Sprecher Black Bavarian (6.0%): A Schwarzbier from Wisconsin with flavors of bitterswete cocoa, earthy malts, mild roast.

    Winner:
    2) Sprecher Black Bavarian
: Czech Dark vs Schwarzbier Battle. First is Phase Three Czech Dark. It's dark and roasty. A little sweeter than for the style after trying this a few times. It's really good though. Next is Sprecher's Schwarzbier. It's similar, but slihgtly more earthy, bittersweet flavors. Not as roasty. Drinks extremely clean and I keep coming back to this because it's excellent.
Sprecher with the slight win here.

    1) Phase Three DDH Perpetual Sounds (7.7% canned 1/19/24): A DDH NEIPA from Chicago with Mosaic and Amarillo for flavors of fruity blueberry tea, peachy grapefruit.
    versus
    2) Hop Butcher Treez Freez (8.0% canned 1/3/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Pacific Sunrise, and Mosaic for flavors of orange citrus, berries, and sweet grape. Hints of pine. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    2 Hop Butcher Treez Freez:
First up is a fresh one from Phase Three Perpetual Sounds. Mosaic and Amarillo. Tropical with a bit of grapefruit and pine. Extremely good.
Next is Hop Butcher Treez Freez. Nice Citra and Pacific Sunrise to balance the Mosaic. Very tropical and smooth. Both are fantastic IPAs, but preferring the smoothness of Hop Butcher on this one.

It's been 4 months without King Sue on the shelves around here. Not sure why because we've had plenty of their other beers coming in. I swear, I almost cried when I saw them today.

Smoked Helles, a lager from Dovetail (who have the most controversial thread in the Great Lakes forum for 2 years running). VERY light smokiness here; quite a pleasant brew.

Glad and sort of surprised you found that beer. Wonderstuff has always been one of my go-to Czech Pils from The Cities. Not widely distributed though. Like you said, simple, but very good. I like that one.
Whatever you're doing with that that food sounds amazing.
