Are there too many "appreciation" threads?

Thank you! This response made me laugh a little out loud.

 

The saison thread is needed because it was a style that kinda blew up for a moment, then next thing you know, all you can find outside of DuPont or the other (rarer) Belgians is shit that is either too sweet for the style or has fruit as more than an accent. And a lot of the Belgians are too sweet. I like to find out about saisons that would be to my liking.

 

We obviously need ranked choice voting

Kidding aside, even though I agree with the OP that the number of appreciation threads is excessive, that doesn’t mean I think they should be deleted or that the site needs to be reorganized.*


* I do think anyone who says “S - - - - Is Life” should be suspended.

I would post a picture of such, but I read on the internet that Abraham Lincoln said beer is bad for succulents, so I declined....

I actually like that last one. I'd give a shoutout to too many people here I appreciate for many different reasons.
This reminds me...In the past I enjoyed the ability to "like" members' reviews. Some BA's here are absolutely wonderful writers, as well as reviewers.

Let's face it, the range of beer topics we discuss will diminish over time because most topics have been brought up before, and you will be provided with a past link if you don't remember or weren't on the site yet. I predict more Style Appreciation threads evolving into Brand Appreciation threads in the future, resulting in the Budweiser Appreciation thread, in which case the Earth will consequently implode.
