So I’m planning a craft beer road trip and it seems the closest place to me that has a big craft beer area is Pinnealis County Fl. I plan on getting an AirbnB and spending two days there. I am debating on either down town St. Pete, Dunnedin, or Tarpon Springs. My questions is what would be the better place that would be walking distance everywhere for sights, craft beer, and food. I plan on brining my dog with me as well. Any one has some insight would appreciate it

Downtown st Pete and it isn’t really close in my opinion. Cycle, green bench, grand central all walking distance. Hops and props and ale and the witch are beer bars also walking distance. Bodega has the only Cuban sandwich you’ll ever want again. Weekend is planned, lol.

Not to butt in fellas but we love the Dunedin area. We stay at the Holiday Inn Express and have walked to these breweries multiple times. Hope you have a great trip!

I really like that Dunedin area a lot as well. Super quaint little downtown. I also haven’t lived in the area for a few years so I’m not completely versed on what other gems have popped up in that area. If I remember correctly, I believe Dunedin brewing might have been the first in the bay area

Tarpon is the only one of the three I would NOT consider. STP and Dunedin offer different vibes and experiences but both have a lot going for them!

If your're looking for a variety of sights, craft beer, and food then St. Pete wins hands down. After you hit Cycle and Green Bench/ Webb's there are tons of other options (Bayboro, Overflow, If I Brewed The World, etc.). If you really want to check out Dunedin then get a ride up there on Friday or Saturday when Eli's BBQ is open. Grab some BBQ and hit 7th, Woodwright, and Dunedin Brewery before heading back to St. Pete. I like to bike/walk in Dunedin and go there to visit Honeymoon Island then also have a few beers afterward. If the main focus of your trip is beer then you probably want to go to St. Pete.

FYI The Seminole heights/downtown Tampa/Ybor area also has plenty of beer destinations that can be walked to (especially if you also use the Street Car) but things are a little more spread out and some of the sidewalks/neighborhoods aren't as nice. Nevertheless, I've done Angry Chair, Southern Homebrewing, Woven Water, Magnanimous, and Barrie Haus all in one (long) day.

Hi! I recently went on a craft beer trip and stayed at a palce which has become my favorite spot ever! As far as I know it’s pet-friendly, there were lots of people with dogs around  Click here if you're curious. It's a fantastic location with easy access to great craft beer spots and local food. For your trip to Pinellas County, I’d recommend Downtown St. Pete. It’s walkable with lots of craft beer options, sights, and dining. Plus, it’s dog-friendly with plenty of parks and pet-welcoming places. I had a great time there, and I think you’ll love it too! Lmk.
