The last 3 times I visited have Major letdowns. They are no longer a beer destination. Empty coolers & floorspace. A pity, they were a go to for me for so long. It doesn't look like the loosening of the beer laws did them any favors. Thoughts?

Yeah, haven't been there in a while. I loved it when I went, but doesn't surprise me much. Happened at another old favorite of mine that I would stop at while traveling. Philippe's Wine Cellar in Lafayette, LA. The old school beer stores are dying, selection wise.

Yep. A few years ago, I used to be able to go to Collins, Biergarten, or one of the two Park Hills and get nearly any beer that came into the state (except some small OKC breweries but that's another story). Not any more. I end up driving between Biergarten and Park Hills Midtown these days. Collins isn't on the list anymore. Seems like they gave up on beer.

There's a place near 71st and Mingo called B&B Liquors that has a good selection too, just at higher prices. The Park Hills in midtown is still the best place when it comes to prices and selection. Biergarten is good for getting singles but there selection has gone down a bit too.

It was also the place where beer went to die. Had my daughter pick me up some stuff there and she forgot to check the dates, immediately turned around and went back in and they pretty much told her tough shit. I got to where I don't even drive when I get to Tulsa, so I started walking to the Modern Spirits, but that is usually just to get some room beers

I stopped going there years ago after they "punked" me on a 4-pack of KBS charging me 3x retail. They lost a customer for life with their price gouging. I only shop Biergarten, Deep Discount, Parkhill's &/or Ranch Acres. Cheers! :beers:
